Proper training for people working with abrasive wheels is not an option; it's a legal requirement.

The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) fully revoked the Abrasive Wheels Regulations 1970 but actually extended the legal training requirements to include anyone handling, storing or working with abrasive wheels.
